Welcome Home

Plan a Visit

We are super excited to meet you!

Part of our mission is to Encounter the Presence of Jesus and Embrace our Community and World by sharing the love of Christ. It does not matter where you currently stand in your faith. You are welcome here!

Here's Everything You Need to Know!

Here's the answers to some frequently asked questions!

When is Service?

We have service on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in our Worship Center! Service usually last until about noon.

Where is Church on the Hill located?

Church on the Hill is located at 1035 Abutment Road, Dalton, GA, 30721. The easiest way to get here is to go down Abutment Road and the driveway is across the road from the fire station!

What can I expect when I walk in?

We will have greeters at the door ready to greet everyone who steps into Church on the Hill! It it’s your first time, don’t worry. We won’t single you out or make you announce yourself.

But we do have a free gift for you, so make sure you find a greeter, or anyone on our hospitality team (you can spot them by their “how can I help you?” badges) and they’ll be able to direct you and help you get your free gift!

We also have free coffee and donuts outside our Worship Center!

What should I wear?

We don’t have a specific dress code here at Church on the Hill, so come as you are! We want you to feel comfortable among us! You’ll find many styles of dress in our congregation: some wear jeans and a t-shirt while some wear dresses and button-ups and slacks! Most of us have forgotten our ties or don’t even own one— but if you’d like to wear one, then go right ahead!

What about my kids?

Don’t worry, parents. Your kids are safe and loved here! While we don’t have a Sunday School before service, we do have a worship service and lesson for your kids while they are in their classes, so they’ll be worshipping and hearing the Word of God too in our Kids on the Hill area! We have classes for kids as young as newborn all the way up to 6th grade!

When you come in, you can check your child(ren) in, and you’ll get a matching security tag with a code (make sure to keep a hold on it, as we don’t allow our kids to leave unless we get that code)! If you’d like to pre-register your children, to expedite the check-in process for your first visit, fill out this form!

We have redone our children’s wing over the past several years to make it as comfortable, fun, and most importantly, safe, as possible for all the Kids in our church! All of our teachers are background checked, and we have a police officer on sight to help us keep an eye on things!

What can I expect during service?

We love to sing many of the newer worship songs while also singing some of the older songs and hymns. You’ll hear a relevant biblical message on growing in a relationship with God. Most weeks, we give people a chance to respond by receiving prayer and/or communion if they would like. You are welcome to come as an observer. Nothing is required of you.

Don’t worry, we won’t pass out an offering plate either. We don’t require anyone to give tithes or offerings, but if you would like to there are many ways to do that: we have tithe envelopes and boxes on the back walls in the worship center, or you can go to our website or the Church Center app and give under the Giving tab!
